Where History Meets Hospitality
Brell House stands as a testament to St Marys’ rich history and vibrant future. Our venue honours the industrial history of the past while creating new traditions for Western Sydney families and friends to enjoy for generations to come.

Our Story
1907-1934
For nearly a century, the Brell tannery sat in the centre of St Marys’ thriving industrial boom.
Martin Brell's tannery was one of the major tanneries in the St Marys district. In 1907 he employed 15 men and was treating an average of 450 hides a week.
2025
Paying homage to the spirit of craftsmanship and innovation.
Brell House will open its doors in Spring 2025 to the next generation of hardworking locals, who are ready to unwind, connect, and enjoy.
The legacy of Martin Brell’s craftsmanship lives on in every corner of our venue. Where once the rhythmic sounds of tanners shaped leather, now laughter rings out across our pristine gardens and outdoor play areas.
We’ve paid homage to the industrial charm of Brell’s legacy, while creating warm and welcoming spaces where memories are made and traditions begin anew.
